I just got a pre-order email from Townsend records:-

They're obviously not giving a fuck about chart position, otherwise they wouldn't be selling the second CD only through their own store.

Yeah I didn't understand the logic of this with the last single either. Maybe it's a limited edition perhaps? I always wonder what happens with how many singles are made on CD and vinyl and what happens to singles that don't sell.

they get thrown in the bin and written off as a loss i expect

just got an email about the single release and video from the manics website ..woo

also got an email from hmv pure saying i could meet JLS ....boo

There is at least one other store that seems to be selling the second CD: Recordstore - can't remember if they did the same for the last single but then pulled CD2 or not.
