Blimey, I don't know whether to be terrified or strangely aroused.

You do realise that the only way to kill me is a wooden stake right through the ticker, right?

Nikolai, I always keep people guessing.

Oh, no, not another vampire cliche. And why would I want to kill you?

Tomorrow most likely. I really can't see it doing well at all sadly but I hope I'm wrong. I'm gonna lower my prediction to about #39. What's it doing on the Itunes downloads, is it selling on there at all? I bought the 3 format bundle so there's 3 sales.

I would not have heard of this song if I didn't use the forum (I only watched Strictly cos the forum told me to)... this just seems to simple to me. Not enough.

It's not among the top 200 tracks. Top 40 on Sunday is looking INCREDIBLY optimistic at the moment.

Still, at least it gave us all a LMAO, the idea of some dick at Sony telling them that anyone who watches Strictly buys new music.

The live EP and the single are both in the top 200 albums on iTunes, along with PFAYM and Forever Delayed.

If I remember correctly the single was at #194, so not great to say the least

EDIT
Live EP #55
Forever Delayed #87
Postcards #112
Single #159

It's getting better, nearly 40 places further up than when I last looked about an hour and a half ago

My God. I think it's safe to say this will be the last single from the album despite talk of Postcards being a 3rd single. Saying that, if it's only downloads...well, I haven't downloaded it as I buy physical stuff, never used Itunes before, so it's probably not too bleak.

when this shit song that should never have been a single tanks, is the weather in the UK still bad enough for people to say "well, it would have been number one of course, but people just couldn't get to the shops to buy it, and the wires for most of the internet were frozen".

The excuse will be an obvious one. They took a chance and released a single in the run up to Christmas and it got lost and will most likely now bring a proud run of consecutive top 40 hits to an end.

In a parallel universe where they didn't alienate their usual target market and turn themselves into the naffest alternative band on the planet, it might have worked. If only the 11 million viewers they just whored themselves to had an iTunes account between them. Ah well, nothing ventured, nothing gained!

I know chart positions aren't important yada yada but I agree with DK this brings an end to an incredibly respectable 19 year run of consecutive Top 40 singles*. Such a shame.

I noticed this week Pet Shop Boys' new single ended their own 25-year run of Top 40 hits too (If I've got my facts right!).

My prediction? No48.

* Discounting "Umbrella" which wasn't official (honest).
