Just booked my ticket. The conformation email has got a row and seat number, anyone know what it's for as I thought it was standing?

Pretty sure this is just Ticketline's method of keeping track of number of tickets sold, as I've booked stuff with them before and I seem to remember it's done the row/seat number thing on other occasions, even though the event was standing.

Yeah, the seat/row thing when it's actually a standing ticket is quite common.

I got the seat number (60), but it says General Admission as well, so I'm not worried or anything

Quite liking the thought of a horde of Manixfanz being made to sit on a few rows of deckchairs at the back.

It kinda like happened something like this with an REM gig once. The fanclub was promised amazing tickets but was given crap ones instead. After a not so quiet revol, we got what we deserved lol

Just had a look at travel information, it looks like the shuttle bus that runs from the train station to the site is only available for journeys back to the station on the Sunday.

I have a hotel room booked in a nearby village (8 miles away from the site) for the Sunday night. But I'm not going to use it. Does anyone want it before I cancel? We can come to some arrangement over cost

MBV also announced to be playing. I am of course esctatic, and hope they do a set purely consisting of their really early EPs that are laughably lo-fi, just to amuse Wire.
