We were in the seats right at the top for the tennis a few years ago and it was absolutely boiling, but I don't know if that was from all the lighting needed for the tennis. I've since been in the lower tiered seats nearer the court and it was chillier down there due to the air con, plus hot air rises I suppose.

I'd suggest layers for a gig, so you're not stuck with just one massive coat. I tend to tie my jumper round my waist and put my coat over the barrier/my bag. It's not the most stylish look, but that's not really the point anyway

Gahd! My gig fear has just kicked in. I get it everytime I go anywhere. It's also compounded by the fact that unless my parents change their travel plans, I may not be able to make it.
