I'm not going to sneak around or lie to them. They know I want to go and if I start making excuses, they will know I'm making excuses and why I'm making them.

I'm not going to freak out until Friday night. *determined face*

Unless there is some major family emergency, it seems selfish of them to interfere with your plans and expect you to drop your evening out. It's not like you're going to the movies and can go on another night. This is a one-time deal.

Obviously you don't have to elaborate but is there anyway the family thing could be changed to another time or does it have to be this weekend?

No, the family thing (a wedding) happens on Sunday. Which means we could travel on Sunday, but my Mum wants to go up on Saturday. And my Dad wants a quiet life.

Is there any way you could meet them there on the Sunday or do you need to travel with them?

Ah, now I understand why that could be a bit of a problem. Hope your Mum relents!

The train ticket bought on the day would be extortionate.

Hopefully she'll see sense and we can go up on Sunday.

Anyway, I'm going to stop fretting now, I'm just winding myself up

It probably won't happen but I'd love it if A Design For Life was stuck earlier in the set and they ended with You Love Us or Motown Junk.

I can dream

Hopefully that's what Nicky means by 'unexpected' - it'll be like PPF tour and they'll bang it out second song in to keep us on our toes.
We can but wait, wait and dream.

How does it keep us on our toes when we know all the songs?

Ticketmaster have added a lot more upper tier tickets, with seats mainly in the front few rows.
