I'd need to listen to Cartman singing 'Yes' before I could give an answer....

Interesting that people don't like The Descent, it was my favourite new one at Hammersmith, might be better on record perhaps?

James not coming down with a cold or anything I hope! Glad I missed this as am avoiding any other album tracks now until the album release!

That would be epic.

Do you reckon for a fifty we could get them to make it?

Yep I liked the Descent best of all too. Theres a nice chord in the intro chord sequence that just sets the run off kilter but keeps it within the sequence before finishing on a lovely sus4 to major chord finish. Its a familiar run from many a song but that little chord sounds lovely.

Haven't liked any of James' melodies so far, I'm really worried about this album.

At least I doubt they'll ever top it. Or should that be bottom it? Either way, it must literally be their last descent.

They take great pride in telling every interviewer that they wrote The Descent on a tour bus. The moral of this story for JDB and Nicky is: never write another song on a tour bus again. Or if you do, try to finish writing it when you get home.

The most worrying thing. They've played it on a radio session... probably means it'll be a single.

Written on the tour bus while 'Whatever' by Oasis was playing in the background.

Good point. I hope you're right. And I hope there are no worse songs on the album.

Also that there are a few livelier songs, the three apart from the single are very pedestrian and remind me more of TIMTTMY than EMG or SATT.
