Just watched it and I think it's really good actually! Like the bit at the beginning where Michael Sheens character looks like he's gonna storm out of the room but then waves his arms about a bit and decides to carry on. People have been saying about the band having a good old 'letch' at the kiss but the camera just pans to the audience and then back to the main characters. Didn't spot any untoward gawping myself! I think the timing is just right as well. Like some have said I don't like excessive snogging on the telly as it gets tiresome after a while but I didn't feel that watching this. Think the ending is quite sweet without being sickbag grabbing or anything. Thumbs up from me but unable to vote in the poll as it is closed now.

Edit - Oh and James is hot of course!

It's just occured to me that Anna Friel is married to David Thewlis, star of Mike Leigh's Naked, one of the movies which Richey left behind. Pointless fact.

Yes, Richey loved David Thewlis. Probably because he didn't stick around to see his unfortunate 'stache in Harry Potter. But yes, I imagine if he's around he is wishing he were Anna Friel...

Has anyone actually seen the music video on any music channels? There's some right rubbish bands around at the moment so I'd have thought the Manics video would get decent plays.

Tried to look on the various music channel websites but no progress........Q Music still has the band promoting JFPL 05/2009!

The only interesting part is seeing the Manics. I hope the 2nd single will have a better video and the Manics feature in it more.

It's a very good video. In time to come, if ever again a manics best of dvd comes out again, this will be one of the more interesting videos to watch. I won't be skipping past it, as i do with other post THB videos on the FD dvd.
