I thought they changed which side of the vinyl it was printed on for later pressings, for audio clarity reasons? Would have thought the artwork of originals would be correct if that's how it was originally intended.

oh, I hope it's not all of them, collectors item!

I can confirm this is true of mine at least. The listing is all on one side (the second half of the album's side), but says 'This side' and 'The other side' (oh, spooky!). 4st 7lb is listed as being the last track of the first side, but is in fact the first track of the second side. It isn't listed / divided into sides on anything else in the set as far as I can see.

this is from their facebook to explain the 4st7lb thing

Information regarding 'The Holy Bible' 20th Anniversary Edition: To improve and enhance audio quality, the song '4st 7lbs' has been moved to track 1 on side 2 of the LP. It was a last minute decision so those lucky people receiving the first run of 'Holy Bible' box sets will be getting a rare collectors edition where the tracklisting shows '4st 7lbs' as the last track on side 1 (as per the original 1994 vinyl cut).

What a load of shit. 'We screwed up but knowingly sent out the misprinted copies anyway in the hope we can fob them off as being collectors items.'

hahah, I was half-joking about the collector's item thing.

If anyone wants to be really picky, you can also note the ever-so-slightly over-sized 'F' for the listing of CD3's track "14.
Faster (Dub Mix) ..." on the contents sheet.

Can't say either error really bothers me in the slightest though.

Last minute 'decision'. Surely, last minute 'oh fuck'.

Ours has apparently just been sent out, be a bit gutted if we don't get one of the special ones, ordered it instantly. Will probably pick t'other one up anyway...

Credit where it's due, this is an interesting remaster. They've beefed it up to the point where it almost sits right in the middle of the original and US mix. You won't be needing to use bass boost on this one...

Actually, after skimming over the second disc, the new remaster is significantly closer to the power of the US mix but without that extra gloss. In other words, this could be the new favourite version for many.

Mausoleum sounds mega and I was never keen on the US versions of This Is Yesterday and 4st7lb.

Good job, JDB and the other chap. (Either that or they've ballsed up the remaster of the US mix.)
