I liked the DVD, but my favourite bits are definitely the in studio footage. So frustrating to know there must be hours of this stuff that will never be seen!

I watched NM last night without the distractions of the kids, missus and really took more of it in. It's not as good as it could have been and it feels a bit redundant in parts due to the fact it took 10 years to get released. However, the studio parts were great and hearing early version of fearless punk Ballad was cool, the demo sounded so much better. Also, it's cool that James and Nicky had an argument about Autumnsong.

I did picture it being on TV. But on BBC Four on a Manics night. With a "Manics on TOTP" special.

Bloody legal issues, it's a shame the film is still haunted by them. I might watch this again this weekend.
