We blamed the poor sod in front of us too. Based probably on the fact that he was alone and easy to blame!

It is a shame that 1985 went, but it could return. They must know some of us love Lifeblood, and that one was been incredible live on this tour. Since the Postcards tour, every Lifeblood track I've seen them play has been a lot heavier than it was originally. As for the song Postcards from a Young Man, imagine it would've divided the room a bit, but I certainly prefer it to It's Not War.

At least most of us can surely agree that of all setlist additions this time around, Mausoleum and The Intense Humming of Evil have been surprisingly amazing? I mean, really fucking good.

Such a shame that people do that during quieter songs. What is that thought process? 'Oh this song isn't as loud as the last, time to have a conversation.' Guess I was lucky, no one talking around me during that one. Glad too, it's my favourite from the album and I didn't think James would pull it put after that tour.

Glad you enjoyed it, squire. Hope to return to Dublin next time, loved the venue.

We were right on the middle barrier at centre and also had to suffer some incredible farts. Like something had died. Apart from that, what a gig! I posted some pics on Twitter as @grayhairedgam3r if you want to see.

One thing I was reminded of last night: just how incredible a guitar player JDB really is, when you add the fact that he is both 'technically' a good singer, and just a fucking cool singer - the man really is a legend.

Maybe it was James with the downtown-pushdowns? He does like pies and pints after all, sometimes a lethal combination when on its way back to the light.

Also, not that I can dumb down the performances of Sean and Nicky on this tour, but James has been on fire.

I can't remember which song it was but at one point JDB was tuning his strings mid song, while still singing perfectly - it was pretty funny I thought.
