Yes but at least he publicly voiced the opinion in a way that the likes of us - me, you and your parents etc - never had the chance to. Give the fella some credit.

With the student riots I think Nicky is shrewd enough not to go saying too much about that just yet. The Manics have said a few times in interviews that they are rockstars and not politicians. They have their views on things of course but they know when things are beyond their scope so to speak.

Tbh I'm not really that bothered that they haven't got on their soap boxes; I've always found their 'political band' label a bit more overstated than it should be. But I don't really feel like praising Nicky for pointing out something rather obvious that a fair amount of people have been saying for a while anyway, sorry

The political side of things isn't why I'm interested in the band anyway to be honest. I know that's more important to some than others. Just pointing out what Nicky said in an interview in relation to what Nikolai was getting at.

I can just about forgive you

On a totally different note, how come when you post that little circle next to your name is grey, whereas mine is green?

I'm still a rookie (as the Americans would say) on here and all.
