Is this a standard thing for albums to come out a few days earlier in Ireland? I remember finding out in Tower that they'd have JFPL before the Brits and posting very excitedly about it on here. Might drop in to HMV tomorrow so, been meaning to get the Eddie Izzard box set in there anyway.

Deluxe version looks tidy. I might actually buy that. I like shiny things.

Perhaps you are a magpie. I'd look in the mirror if I were you, the beak is a dead giveaway.

I like shiny things too. Like sparkly, glittery shoes. Might have to invest in the special edition. Well, next month. I don't like the idea of paying customs and duty fees.

I don't know if this old news to anyone, but from this article it would appear that Some Kind of Nothingness and The Future Has Been Here 4 Ever aren't the only tracks Nicky wrote the music for.

Quote:
Wire reveals his obsession with a certain boy band which he feels comes through on the track Golden Platitudes.

“I was obsessed with the chord sequence of Back For Good by Take That. I threw the kitchen sink at it – choirs, orchestras,” he says of the new song.
I must confess, I was surprised at the idea of James writing a song without a huge signpost pointing towards the chorus when I first heard Golden Platitudes.
