Who here speaks good German?
At the start of the video, when she's speaking on the phone, the subtitles say she says "Which way? Which way?" followed by "Where are you?" But it sounds like she's actually saying "Wo lang? Wo lang?" (or perhaps "Woher lang?") and "Wer sind Sie?" which my rusty German would translate as "Where long? Where long?" (huh???) and "Who are you?" Anyone able to shed any light on that?

She says "Wo lang?". It's short for "Wo entlang?" and means along and not long. "Which way?" is correct.

Have to admit I'm not too impressed, enjoying the music far more than lyrics so credit to James and Sean for that (assuming they've written the music for the songs we've got so far)

Wait, you can actually make out the lyrics for "Futurology"? Has it been posted as best as they can in the Wiki? Is this another meeting I've missed...

No. sorry I meant from the tracks we've heard already.
For co-wrote do you mean Nicky contributed to the music and not just wrote the lyrics?

Or do you think he didn't? The "chorus" sounds like taken from Zeitgeist album...which is not a compliment

That was easy, but "Europa geht durch mich" is still a mystery. These German words do not sound good in German ears. Could both mean something like "Europe flows through me" amd "Europe works because of me", I don't know. Even googling "geht durch mich" without "Europa" delivers very few results not linked to this song.

My girlfriend also said it was a very strange sentense. in czech language I would translate it as something like Europe "walks" through me or passes through me just like when you travel through a country and you get to know it. But I have no idea if this is what they meant. Any personal friend of Nina Hoss here? he should know ;-)

I reckon that Walk Me To The Bridge is the most radio friendly song they've had since YLAINE and the catchiest.
I'm seriously in love with it right now. But I do that with all Manics songs, each song is my favourite...until I listen to the next one. |

Yeah, I must have been wearing the wrong pair of glasses or something... Or just getting confused with the whole "but 'wo' means 'where', not 'which'?" puzzle that was going through my head.
