Also plan to briefly visit Blackwood and Cardiff.

I hope to buy a ticket for Newport. I saw my first Manics gig there, so I'll be thrilled to go back
Could be fun to organise a group visit to Blackwood

This may be a stupid question but fuck it;

Do you have to be a student attending the University (of Liverpool or whatever) to get a ticket for those gigs?

In Ireland, if memory serves, you have to be a student/staff to get tickets.

I've been to plenty of gigs at Swansea Uni and I've never studied there

Pretty sure students get some sort of presale though
