Oasis were the worst for never changing setlists. A year long tour, and you would be lucky if they changed one song all tour!

Oh well at least I can get away without learning all the lyrics to the holy bible for another tour, I can just about manage to remember 'done to your hair, done to your hair, done to your hair'

These days I only remember bits and pieces, but the songs that I memorized up until the early 90's are still with me! Weird!

i put it down to not having enough time to properly learn albums. I used to listen to albums while doing homework at school/college and as i had so little money to spend on music i tended to listen to the same thing over and over until it was engrained in my brain.. even now if a song comes on the radio that i've not heard since the late 80s-early 90s i can still sing along to it. The wonder of long term memory! The song has to be playing tho'.

Just got home from the gig, bloody mental on some songs but proper loved jumping around loads! My throat is cained, my ears are ringing and my hands are a weird blue colour from my feather boa. Very disappointed to see only like 3 people dressed up, one girl came up to me and was pleased to see someone else had made the effort and I said the same to her. Great gig, really great. They should record a gig of this tour cos they're amazing.

Yeah, there's definitely elements of that. I also find myself just less willing to sit down and study the lyrics the way I used to - gone are the days I would make the THB booklet my bedtime reading. Not having the lyrics in the booklet doesn't help matters, of course (dunno if this just the deluxe edition).

Glad they're back up to 5 PFAYM songs, just wish they'd go for different ones. Had a feelign they'd be due to pull out Masses soon, they're running out of semi-staples they can introduce. I've enjoyed Ocean Spray on this tour, but don't really need to see it every time... Was nice to get Hazelton Avenue back.

Didn't really enjoy this gig as much as the others so far. Nowt to do with the performance, just that I was up on the balcony with a crap view, and surrounded by people talking throughout. Cunts.

amazing night, as it always is.
1. BSP were a lot better than in Glasgow but their singer seemed to be a bit drunk or something. cool setlist, they played 40mins or so.
2. no Tim Roth in the bg
3. great set, James fit, Nicky fitter, couldn't see Sean only a bit of his forehead, i stood between Nicky and James, queued since 2.30, got to the front row
4. shame there was no Sleepflower or Empty Souls, but there was also no KC or OS
5. srsly brilliant night, SB was probably the song of the night, this or Roses
6. loved Nickys coat, after the acoustic break he wore the sailor hat.
7. i got the setlist (thanks to the lovely security guys who looked after me asking if i'm fine), will send the quote later, when i get back home
8. Nicky and James came out, Sean's got something bad with his wrist, he can't sign so he could play l8er
9. i gave Nicky the poster i made before (I <3 Wire) and the bracelet, he said i shouldn't be that crazy about him (when he noticed my spraypainted shirt), his knees aren't well but he did a lot of jumping.
10. the barriers at the gig were my neck tall, so it wasn't that bad but the wrong idea is the barriers when the come out, oh well.
11. Simon Price was at the gig.
12. thanks to all lovely people i met there, especially Kevin, Rel, Sam and Amanda and everyone else. great night, see you in London xxx

p.s.
will upload the pics and the vid of GP when i get back home. i've got my taxi to the airport in 3 hours. yay sad reality.

Sorry about the false alarm with Yes Masses was more of a treat anyway.

Nicky's got a new coat, it's very swish and he looks divine.

My ears don't work, and I got home to find that the fridge has died.

Someone shut the M62 to try to keep me in Leeds, but I'm not that easily fooled, I got home eventually.

After nearly three dozen gigs, it's finally dawned on me that the best place to crotchwatch James is from Nicky's side. The zip looked a bit doubtful at one point, but it stayed up. In other crotchwatch news, Nicky seemed to be adjusting his knickers when he introduced James. It was a bit distracting.

Finally kids, if you see me wandering around with a paper hankie down my cleavage, it is NOT a fashion statement, it's just me forgetting that I put it there during the gig when I couldn't get to my pocket. I'd prefer it if you had a quiet word, rather than letting me accost James with a bosom that smells of Olbas oil. Ta.

I usually hate being upstairs, but I was sat in the middle at the front, so I had a great view. Enjoyed tonight, wasn't my favourite but I would've been happy if it was the only one I went to.

But really, James? "I am not singing P.C.P." Please, just once!

James has never sang P.C.P. anyway - P.C.P. is a song which must be SHOUTED!!!
