i've been to a signing at cardiff HMV before and that was the rule: only the new album/single/dvd/book gets signed by the artist. Security guards make sure everyone in line has a copy of the new thing and tell them to chuck anything else. :s

I assume the Q vinyl is out then ? I'm not going but i'd rather get that signed than a cd booklet. That's if it shows up before the 31st

Aahh tough one, this! I'd love to go to the Birmingham one but I don't finish lectures until 3 that day, and I don't want to skip any because I know I could fall behind really easily if I do that with the nature of my subject. I do have an hour free between 1 and 2, and it'd take about 20 minutes to get there from uni, but would that be enough time to get back in time for my lecture? Or would I still catch them if I got there for about half 3? I doubt I would

I'm going to the Cardiff signing. Going to stay at a friend in Rica on the Sunday, into Cardiff for a bit of daytime eating and drinking
Then back to hers and up early next morning with just a short drive to Cardiff!!! Well i might as well make a weekend of it .I was hoping to get a 12inch picture single sighned as it's not the type of thing i can take to gigs but it looks like i'll have to buy a second copy of NT, I'v already ordered it from Amazon but it won't get to me in time for signing.

Bollocks, was looking at the wrong artist. Ah, Brum then. Pity, I had such hopes for London what with it being so massively more convenient.
Means early trains and all sorts but not having to travel to Manchester is quite nice...
