TSWH was soooooo much better than that acoustic country song that went before it, which sort of turned into a nursery rhyme half way through. WTF?!

James and Sean were both suffering from bugs on the night of the recording.

I still think James sounded ok. There's something else wrong with SMTW that made it sound a bit shitty.

Busy evening of TV for me, Benedict Cumberbatch on Graham Norton, so missed SMTW but switched over in time for the MUCH better interview with Nicky (sans shades and the hat thank god), although I take it James didn't want to be involved this time

This Sullen Welsh Heart sounded beautiful

It just sounded a bit 'Jools-ified' to me if that makes any sense. The drums were too quiet and plastic-sounding. There was definitely something else missing though.

This Sullen Welsh Heart is very quickly becoming one of my favourite MSP songs. It's beautiful.

What was the actual problem with the original interview? They handled it well enough!

That performance of TSWH has got to be the best bit of promo they've done for this album so far. Gorgeous. Having to bloody suffer for it though, I am extremely close to rage-sobbing after two lots of Jake Bugg.

The main thing I am taking from this is the news of A FREAKING NICKLY-ART EXHIBITION though, of course *__*
