Gold book version turned up today in post. Looks lovely. thehut.com (were it came from for me) said disc 2 was a DVD. I knew it wasn't but still gutted it's not haha.

Listening now for first time. Thoughts so far:
  • Title track is great.
  • Bit gutted track 5 is a cover of that Gabrielle song with a Led Zep breakdown in it!!!!

Am gutted that everyone who's ordered from Townsend seems to have received their CDs already - except for me! I know that it is early still, but thought mine would have come too! Have been waiting patiently all this time, avoiding any leaks etc - have only heard It's Not War..., and SKON. Oh well, here's hoping for the morning eh! Fingers crossed. Am getting really excited, and impatient too now!

I just checked the prices for the album in my country:
24,76€ - for 1 CD edition
28,67€ - for 1 LP
For instance, the cheapest JFPL costs 12,53€ now (but the 2 discs version is 49,7€)

That's just insane.

well as usual play have let me down, my JFPL came the saturday before release as have many other albums excepr for anything i ever buy from Play never comes on time. I wouldn't have even considered ordering from Play normally for a new album release other than they were doing the signed copies....oh well, it might make it here at some point before th tour starts

I ordered mine from Townsend purely because they've always managed to get things to me on the saturday, but no sign yet. Maybe the mail man is just later today.

Just got my 2CD version from Amazon, it's lovely and gold and shiney. Quickly skimmed through the pages and it looks lovely, will sit down in a bit and really take it all in.....I'm just excited about having it now, YAY! Made my weekend. And week. And month.

After hearing the album for the first time, I'm very glad that this will be their last attempt at this approach.
