The Manics website has introduced a new section. Journals will feature irregular long form essays on the band and the wider world of Manic Street Preachers. The first post has gone live today; it's by the author Richard King and discusses the strong thread of Welshness that runs through Rewind The Film. Look out for more essays in the coming months.

Looks like the official site is in the process of being updated...it says a free live EP is available when you sign up. Don't know if it's available yet; I'm on my iPhone waiting for the band to come on in Leeds at the moment

It's not square, so Nicky and Sean's faces wouldn't fit on to the cover. A shame, because it is a great image. I've settled for making it my desktop wallpaper.
