Amazon still isn't selling the book in the US though- does anyone know if I could still order it and get it shipped to the US if I signed up for an account on the .uk site? Alternatively, is there anywhere in London I could get it for under 30£? Since I'm here a couple days more...

books, dvds and cds are things they can sell cross border - lots and lots of things i have here i have bought & had shipped off amazon as it works out cheaper than on the shelves here.

you will no doubt get a touch of import tax, but there's no reason you can't buy any book you like off .co.uk and have it delivered to you in the States.

Okay, thanks! I dunno why the hell they can't list the book in the US then, since they have the page set up, just listed as unavailable. Sorry if it's an obvious question, I'm pretty new to buying stuff online.

I've bought stuff from Amazon.co.uk before, and had no problem. You just have to pay a fortune for shipping to the US.

I've been looking through the book again today, there's some nice photos but I wish they were bigger and had text about them by Nicky, there's so much blank space in the book and as my dad would say "what a waste, what a waste of a tree!" To say he narrowed it down from 10,000 to what is in the book I wish he'd put some more in, or at least better ones than the many, many blurred shit photos of hills and trees.

Aye that's a bunch by Mitch. It starts off well with band photos and then it's like "what's happening here?" and then a few more Manics photos come in here and there.

The concept is better than the execution. Something like a book version of Manic Street Pictures would have been cool.

If you can only buy one I'd say the Mitch one just for the shot of James and Richey on the rollercoaster.... Depends what you want thought, I love 'Death' too and wouldn't be without either.
