The Federation Square Gig yesterday was awesome.

Pity the staff at Federation Square seemed to know nothing about it when i called to confirm that it was actually happening and not just my mind playing tricks on me. Typical though, they know nothing about it, even telling me nothing was planned yet the good people of Forever Delayed located half way around the world seemed to have all the right information. Lucky i went with instincts and followed my fellow Manic fans who lead me to Fed Square just in time.

Thank you, thank you, thank you...

Been a Manics fan makes me so proud..

yeah I'd heard nothing about it either until outside festival hall after the gig.

To be fair though, the city of melbourne website had full details of it up on their site, even the correct time. Most people though went initially to the main stage at fed square, not the small one off to the side.

Worth the effort.

Yes, I reckon I remember them playing it at Cardiff CIA last time I saw them there.

Don't think it was the full song but James definitely played it; I've got the bootleg somewhere and he says something like "I'm turning into Frosty the fucking clown" after he played it. It wasn't the Motown Junk intro either, it was before acoustic The Everlasting.

Just think, Kiwi fans - less than twenty four hours until the Manics do their biggest gig in NZ ever!
