Fantastic sabotage, and well worth a lifetime ASDA ban!

Thumbs up

ASDA... When I listened to Asda town by Suede for the first time I didn't know what it was and as it is a sweet song I thought it was something like a name for a land looking like heaven or paradise.

Well done!

A paradise where you can buy one prawn curry and get another free and all the angels float around patting their backsides!

There were no copies in the new releases section at HMV dumfries (Phil had some). Its sold out in Tesco too I think. Only had one section, baldy Phil had 2 but has only shifted about 2 copies (although I bet they are fully stocked with his "effort").

With all this album hiding, if I worked in the shops in question I'd be rather pissed off with people messing up the shelves. I used to hate that during my brief stint in retail

As long as it's Lifeblood and Forever Delayed, then I'm not fussed!

Plus another trick that doesn't involve hiding albums is to put Manics albums in front of Phil Collins albums. May only work for a short period, but if you make several trips back and repeat the process, it may be effective!

as brilliant as the idea of hiding Phil is, alas they are hidden very much in the wrong place.

"oh, look, here in the DVD section is an album by that nice man who did the music for Tarzan and Brother Bear. let us buy it".

Hmm either it had sold out from its super cheapness or Phil Collins fans are better hiders

Wonder if they know if they've got it or not yet, (Nicky probably does) surely they should have early sales figured for today by now

May have already been said, but it only came in at number 13 in the Ireland. The Irish charts are a joke and always have been. There are two dodgy looking boy band managers albums in the top 4 for pitty sake.

No news is good news they always say! Would've tried to get a couple more copies from another town I was in today but didn't spot any music shops. Grrrrrrrrrrrrr! Anyway, all the best to the Manics. May the force be with you boys!

Asda Portsmouth had PFAYM prominently displayed on a big stand with no Phil Collins in sight, as reported by my girlfriend.
