They were on the Andrew Marr show before weren't they? When JFPL was released?

SATT, they did an acoustic Your Love Alone with James' finger strapped after he trieds to cut it off in the name of a bacon sarnie. Was Carol Thatcher sitting next to Nicky on it as well?

Maybe it's to promote PFAYM as an album in general again and the May tour rather than just the single. I mean, they must realise by now that they're not going to set the singles chart on fire given how the first two singles from this album charted.

Indeed and unfortunately James' voice is deteriorating fairly quickly now, as is his spark.

Fair enough, but can't put me right cos it's my opinion. I don't think his voice (live) is anything like as good as it used to be. The range isn't there, the notes aren't held the same, the shouting/screaming is forced and unconvincing.
It's all forced. The songs are formulaic and uninspiring, but then so are the majority of lyrics provided by Nicky. On the last album there are a few euphoric moments, but not enough. There's no subtelty. Nothing epic. Nothing fresh. Compare recent "Last Christmas" performance to the TFI one. TFI was magical, the recent performance was a bit embarrassing. |
