Oh, ok, ta. From something I read I assumed it was something more.

If it's an advance ticket, there is a £10 admin fee and you can get the balance refunded

It was nonrefundable, but I've just rebooked a new journey for the day before for the exact same price and refunded the old one at only a £10 loss on the admin fee as you said. Virgin Trains customer service is fucking excellent.

Quick question - a lot of these gigs specify 'over 14's only'. How do they enforce this? If you look over 14 will they let you in? Or is it like alcohol, where if they think you could be younger than... 25 or something, they ID you to be safe? Thanks, to anyone who can provide the answer.

I nearly didn't get into one gig once (not a Manics gig though) because it was 18+ and I didn't have ID with me to prove I was 23. Fact that I had paid for the ticket and had no intention of drinking didn't seem to matter. Told the guy I was happy to have my hand stamped or whatever so I couldn't buy alcohol. Jobsworths at Leeds Cockpit.

Ha, Cockpit.. Hazy memories of that place.

What was the problem with the Vengaboys gig?
