Well that was a pretty good interview. Gutted the new songs weren't previewed, but as I was lying there listening and counting th minutes down... I seriously thought FD would have shat more blood by now!
The waiting game continues... I did think "Maybe Huey will play some new tracks?" and then I realised I would have to actually listen to The Huey Show?
More than my afternoon's worth to be honest!

I bought something once. People should just give me stuff, now.

Lol, seriously though. A release date is better than no release date.

Missed the interview, oops.

Maybe WEK got his shows mixed up. Apparently they're live in session on Billy Sloan's show tonight.

With the threat of them playing INWJTEOL, I'm sure as hell not tuning in to find out if this is any more reliable.

I'm pleased they didn't play anything new, but reaction has been way over the top . . . once again.

Maybe, but when someone who should be trustworthy says "this will happen" and it doesn't, people get annoyed.

Very true, I can remember when you would'nt hear a single until it was the day it released, many a time I've set my old tape to tape deck and left it next to the radio while I went to school hoping that sometime during the two hours the tape would run the single would be played In those days singles would 'climb' up the charts

Kasabian released the song 'Empire' as a a single at the same time as releasing to the radio, that's considered the exception these days

haha i never thought to do that..but i do remember the feeling of excitment building as the chart counted down waiting for whatever my favourite band was. The manics were doing well with number 22 16 11...all that was good news..nowadays that'd be flops. Top 5 or nothing.

I didn't even realise that there was the promise of the newies being played seeing as I only got up at eleven today and never really check the website much, can't say I'm too disappointed though, more than happy to wait for the album

Blimey, an interesting reaction to not hearing a couple of songs.

I was hoping they wouldn't play the new songs yet so didn't miss them not being played particularly, but all in it was a decent interview even if some of the music went on a little bit too long.

Crystal Gayle and Demis Roussos. All is forgiven Nicky Wire!

"Rose Garden" too. This is way better than new manics songs for sure. This is a great show!
