That's disgusting. Why do people think they can be so disrespectful to the people performing! I hope it wasn't so loud she might have heard?

I missed James's acoustic show me the wonder cos i was stuck in the queue for the loo. I was absolutely busting and it would've been fine if there were hand towels.. that fucking Dyson dryer going off every 30 seconds kept drowning him out

Just got back from this now and still buzzing. Just incredible in every way. I was exhausted after Yes! I didn't even sing along to Ifwhiteamerica.. as I've never seen it live before and I was literally astounded at how good it sounded live. Over the years I've seen most of the Bible songs live but still was not expecting it to be THAT good. Personal highlight for me was Mausoleum, Nicky introduced it by saying (paraphrasing) "this one's being recorded so make it loud". Also when Sean had some technical issues with a broken snare drum, Nicky impiled that his plan is "coming to fruition" (alluding to the trashing of equipment). That got a good chuckle from everyone in the crowd who knew what he was on about.
Georgia Ruth was great, only slight gripe of the whole night was that her vocals were drowned out to some extent by the volume of everything else. The glitter shower during ADFL was, as always, special. And Nicky did in the end make a kind of half-arsed attempt at trashing his bass. From where I was standing it looked like he just threw it on the floor and walked off but not in anger, but more of a cheeky smile on his face. Did anyone else get a better view of what happened right at the end? My friend reckons James did a similar thing with his guitar but I missed that. Anyway, I realise this post is a bit incoherent - a mixture of adrenaline and tiredness - but wanted to get my thoughts down while they are fresh and before I collapse. Amazing night. |

James threw his guitar up in the air and gave a wry smile as it came down and hit the stage.

James threw his guitar in the air!
I've got it on video Best song of the night for me was Mausoleum - The 'no birds' bit sent a shiver up my spine seeing all the hands in the air! |

I hope your ticket was cheaper than the others as it was clearly a restricted view seat if there was a pillar in the way

they tell you your seat may be restricted by the pillars.. the mic was just unfortunately placed right in my line of sight.. a smidge to the left i would've had a perfect view of James.. to be honest the view was no different to having a 6ft bloke infront of me and having to look over shoulders which is what happened on the floor the night before… I had a great view of Nicky and Sean and James when he was hopping around… It was fine.. best sound of all three nights.. I was on the barrier on Monday.. i'm happy with my lot
