I was a bit too old for Jimbo (my brother had a Jimbo colouring book. And an annual!) - I was into Bagpuss. I liked the banjo-playing toad.

Are you too young for Jimbo & The Jetset then? You'd remember the Noddy series, though, I think? My other brothers are 17 and 19 and loved it. In fact, one of them had an imaginary friend called Gobbo, until he had a terrifying nightmare and was screaming "No, Gobbo, no!" after the episode where Gobbo steals Noddy's clothes and leaves him naked in the woods.

Anyway, what's with the number 75?

I am a little too young yes.

I did indeed watch Noddy though I preferred the books, Thomas and Fireman Sam were pretty good.

That was one unsafe village. I remember thinking even when I was wee that the people who lived there were a bit stupid, and that it's a place to avoid.
Or however I would have put it when I was 4.

What can I say, I have a thing for quiffs....

Yeah, that village did seem somewhat unsafe! They should do a Fireman Sam Specsaver advert like they did with Postman Pat.

In other news, we have another tweet from Patrick!

organised abandonment- tory subtext for 'the big society'-

He's not quite as angry today. Slightly angry, but nothing aimed at Radiohead, Seb Coe or God. Just the Tories.
