Sometimes I wonder/hope that Evans output is more a result of not being paid enough to do a proper job than being born of genuine creative decisions.

There are definitely some examples where I reckon he's done what he can with what he gets from what's already a very small promotional budget. The Lifeblood and TUVL visualisers/videos being the most obvious.

Not surprising I suppose when videos seem to be falling by the wayside when it comes to promoting new releases.

It's not like he made either of the Autumn Song videos! A song so bad that it had to have not one but two terrible videos, which still didn't encapsulate the sheer awfulness of the song

True, Kieran Evans has some produced some decent enough stuff. Unlike the brother of a certain Manic, who shall remain nameless.

Happening this Friday and in the context of The Decline & Fall of Manic Street Preachers may be interesting...

I wonder if it's begun or about to start? All on searches just show the event being advertised.
I know there's not a stream. But we might get a YouTube of the entire interview pop up on YouTube.
Have fun whoever is going tonight and look forward to hearing about it!

I'll let everyone watch it before mentioning the most interesting easter egg revealed about the new album.

But I will say nice dig by Wire on Simon Price at the end.

Really enjoyed watching that half hour recording. Kieran said a few things at the end, other stuff he'll work on with the band for the album, probably videos, and said something about a documentary / film but that was it. Bring on a Manics film!!!

I reckon the Nicky single could make a great Christmas No.1 if it's a global Intimism.
Thanks for sharing the clip!
