Faster, La Tristesse Durera, and possibly Tsunami were on the highlights. If I searched through old videos with highlights, i'd find La Tristesse Durera. Not sure about Faster though. Can't say what condition the tape is in either

I have the vid of t in the park from '99 and its has you stole the sun and tsunami right at the end! best time i've seen them though in 5 attempts!

I've got the VHS bootleg and it was an amazing show, full of shouting and goodness. Great footage of the smashing incidents at the end too. If I can work out how to upload I will, watch this space!

That would be great. I've got a Cambridge gig from 94 or 95 too on VHS. Bad news is I won't be able to upload T In The Park til next week.

That sounds very interesting. What footage have you got of the T in the park set? Is it TV footage or is it a hand held camera in the audience? Is it the full set or just parts of it? I'm sure a lot of people would be intrigued about the Cambridge footage you have also

It's on some of the bootlegs, but not others. I know I used to have MP3s of the entire show, but those are long gone and now I only have the 16-track CD..

No, the Sterephonics were also at the mercy the Wire's fiery tongue during the T in The Park set. Right at the end (after the trashing of the stage) he said (sorry can't make out all of it)"Thats how you do it Stereophonics. You don't buy a ..... guitar ... and shit ..... you motherfuckers"

I think he was referencing something about the Stereophonics having a fake guitar that Kelly smashed at a gig. Don't hold me to that though - the clip is priceless though. I must see this gig!!!

Kelly Jones smashed his guitar at the end of their set the previous night at T in the park. Billy Bragg was also on the receiving end of Nicky's drunken ranting

James ran back on to the stage to rescue his guitar before Nicky got to it

I have the full gig on Cd it is avaible on bootleg... There was a rant about billybrag (Glastonbury Photo of the manics loo) also a rant about Kelly Jones and i forget the bands name but just before Yes was played, James called the band a true bunch of C*nts.... it was a good set and the manics were in true preacher mode but the audio quality of the bootleg let the gig down

ha ha..seen a manics t-shirt in smack water jacks about a month ago. i once wore a burnley top at the leeds festival when msp was headling about 5 year ago, i had thrown larger all over me by some leeds fans, a good gig through. Also when i watched oasis in magulf beach festival, Noel told me to take that shit off me back when i was stood on me mates shoulders.
