Sounds pretty gruesome.

So I got my copy today and I'm feeling a bit stupid... where are the 'exclusive interviews', namely Radio Interview in full (25min), Castro Interviews 1&2 in full (7min each)?

*EDIT*

Ok I've seen the light! I thought I could select those from the extra section... not in the tour diary feature!

I'd always meant to buy this but for some reason never got round to it. Watched the CH4 documentary at the time and really enjoyed that.

The editing is the worst part of the DVD for me. So many shots of the crowd are mixed and matched and there are quite a few shots of the band that are out of sync or taken from the wrong songs.

I should think the Cuban TV tracks were left as they are because they didn't have the time or budget to edit the HQ video for them. The main gig was certainly a rush job, they even elected to include shots from Cuban TV!

I still have to watch it properly, I've only checked a few of the songs from the gig and parts of the other features... it's good to have it for what it is, the account of a very peculiar event. I have never seen the CH4 documentary so this is good enough for me.
It goes for like 4.90£ on amazon, so it's not much of an investment!

i've always found it great to listen to, not really much fun to watch if that makes sense? probably because of the editing and what have you mentioned.

Yes, the editing is awful at times - I think from memory, that on one of the later songs where James is playing guitar, there's a shot or two of him playing bass.

On the KYE tour he did play bass live with Nicky playing guitar when they did MEDD.

Does anyone reckon the documentary can be found on 4 on demand? I know it's a slim hope...

Yeah, I know that - I was saying that they'd clearly edited in some of the Miss Europa footage from the gig with whatever song it was near the end when he was playing guitar as usual.

ah, this takes me back

i had it on release but that's the period i fell out of love with them (for many moons) - i had the DVD but i did not buy (and have yet to hear) KYE

i find with music DVDs i temnd to watch them a couple of times then never again, i'm guessing i'm in the minority here but does anyone else find that?

I haven't watched any of the three Manics dvds in years. I've been tempted to again recently though due to the length of time that's elapsed. At the time of owning them I watched them a few times in quite close proximity though.

Millennium is definitely best, imo. Must've watched it a hundred times or more.

Louder Than War... notsomuch. Maybe 3 or 4 times.
