He tries - you've got to give him that. I want to see him live.. less for the music... more for the hilarity which seems to ensue when nicky wire is put in front of a microphone.

I love Nicky's singing, he may not be technically perfect but you get the impression he really, really means everything he sings. His version of Ocean Spray is absolutely beautiful.

Definitly more of the same stuff, mind you I think Nicky was a bit aprehensive about doing the same stuff again because he was concerned it was too nihilistic. James though I'm sure will bring another good album out but I agree Nicky's had more character to it. Plus Nicky's writing hits you more than James'.

10th Anniversary Edition of TIMTTMY!!! Please!!! I hate that album to pieces not because its their most sucessful because I generally don't rate it very highly enough to be released like that. I think The Holy Bible and Everything Must Go is enough.

It's a fantastic album, one of their most artistic and most importantly, in that era two of the most spoken unreleased archive treasures by the band were made (the Tsunami demo and Anniversary to No One) which just might get a release with the box.

So yes. Roll on with the TIMTTMY box.

Well I've been sold, reading this thread, on a TIMTTMY box. Was up for hearing new Nicky album too, but will it be a download as I'm sure his deal with Red Ink was for a one off? (which ever major Red Ink is an offshoot from)

So apathetic and nihilistic. It appeals to the "better half" of me.

I agree a Nicky solo tour and album would be good, not just for the music but for the rest of the fun that goes with him.

I would live to see Nicky live again, Hay was possibly the most memorable night I've had in a long time.

It might be the most memorable, unless you've forgotten something?

another album would make me happy, too.
(also because i'm not really looking forward to a 10th anniversary of the truth album... and i would so much prefer anything new)
hopefully he does
