So how come they're not coming out in the UK? Very strange.

Most likely, seeing as that's always the case.

Does the first CD for Lifeblood still have The Soulmates and Antartic?

I remember listening Little Trolls and Fear of Motion via the official website or some other means back in the KYE time and they didn't appeal enough to buy the vinyl and tape they were released on, but I regret doing that today, so it would be nice to redeem that with these re-releases.

I'm hoping this seems like too much effort to not release in the UK.

Doesn't it only mention EMG remaster specifically, though?

Where did you read that? The description for each album on the cdjapan website is:

Quote:
Japan exclusive cardboard sleeve reissue from Manic Street Preachers featuring 2009 remastering and new design Japanese Obi. Includes bonus CD with rare audio, booklet, and application card (only valid in Japan). Part of a eight-album Manic Street Preachers cardboard sleeve reissue series featuring the albums "Generation," "Gold Against The Soul," "The Holy Bible," "Everything Must Go," "This Is My Truth Tell Me Yours," "Know Your Enemy," "Lifeblood," and "Send Away The Tigers."
Why would they only remaster EMG in 2009 when they already did that one in 2006? (One answer to that question would be, the 2006 EMG remaster was useless and the stings, bass and drums were all still just as muffled as they were in the original - second time lucky, perhaps!)
