I'll probably stroll in about 8 pm as usual! Looking forward to it.

Probably 9, it seems to be the universal standard.

I'll be there later. Unless they dust off something special, I'll be grumpy afterwards, because my train home isn't until 3:45am.

Meh, I've done sillier things for this band. The above train was booked by a friend actually, so for once I can blame someone else for my discomfort!

That sounds like a ball ache. Have fun!

I'm going in the usual attire, white jeans, leopard print jacket, badly dyed 'red' hair. Very excited, but I'm trying to put off thinking about it until as late as possible.

I don't know why, but it's really awkward to get from Hull to Sheffield today. We're gonna have to get a bus to Goole, a train from there to Doncaster and another from there to Sheffield. Leave here at 15:35, arrive in Sheffield 18:08. Hull to Sheffield has cost me twice as much as Manchester to Hull, too. Bollocks really, for a journey you can usually do within an hour on a direct train.

Ah well, got some vague handwritten directions to the venue. Might end up in Leadmill or something after.

Anyway, I know I'm gonna love the gig so I should stop moaning really. Until later.

Right out of the train station
Across the zebra crossings
Through two interchange tunnels and turn left up that road
Right towards the Odeon
Directly across from 'The Penny Black' there's some stairs
Go up them, turn left go up the other set of stairs
That brings you out next to the Odeon, if you turn right then you're at the Academy

OR

When you get to The Penny Black, keep walking and on your left there is some stairs next to a tunnell, go up them and you'll be at the other side of the academy.

You can see Academy from the bus station (which is across from the train station) so it's easy to get to.
