I don't know why, but I'd love a Manics sticker book...

I used to have some contact with Lee Brackstone when I worked at Mcr's Centre for New Writing, I wonder if I could find some pretext for asking him...

Of course it's worth adding that a 2 book deal doesn't necessarily mean there will be 2 - it's probably a deal for one with an option for a second. Which may or may not see the light of day.
Didn't Kevin Cummins say they we're already working on a second book that isn't the polaroid book?

Oh, I get you now. Obliged!

Think it will make it's money back just on the core Manics audience - us lot! Takes it past the anxious first sales with no marketing needed.

The first one is £30 apparently (which should make it a pamphlet if we use the MSP price scale)

Honestly I'm not surprised about the price. It a 304 page hardcover and an "art/photography" book. I love Rock n' Roll photography and have a number of books.
I recently got the Joy Division one of all of Kevin Cummins photographs (which is beautifully done) it's a little over 200 pages and that one was $45.00, (which is the about the price this Nicky one will be for me). However, Amazon usually does a pretty deep discount.
