Silly isn't it? Label should've backed this all the way, sure in their eyes this'll be an extended free advert. No Manifesto, FD and Manic Street Mania make more effort with the band than the Sony do.

Sadly this could have been a fitting end to the Cornerhouse for me; and I'm playing a gig that night. If it sucks I'll be even more disgruntled come the end of the evening. I look forward however to getting the DVD!

Slatex has been doing this since before FD moved into twittersphere, and anyway, plenty of space for everyone? There's FD/MSPpedia, MSM and nothing else, so why the animosity? Both have space, and both are needed. I know for a fact Slatex agrees.

Who said anything about animosity? Although if you want to be accurate, FD has been doing news and live setlist updates long before twitter was invented, actually.

What on earth are you talking about? I see no animosity anywhere in this thread; just a few jokey comments. The only suggestion of competition between fan sites is in your own post.

Just started sounding as if it was an actual issue that Rich hadn't mentioned the good work FD do. Which he or anybody else would certainly not overlook. Anyway, back to No Manifesto before the mods tell us of!
