This looks amazing.
(Shame it wasn't included in the deluxe package, though. )

Hahaha! For the KYE box Kieron Evans can do a similar film but it's from the perspective of "Mondeo Man" falling out of love with the band!

It Looks okay, I'll watch it. He should make the definite Manics career spanning documentary movie, if not done as a feature length film, then make it like ten episodes in length so every era and album can be talked about and show footage from all the periods and have new interviews with the band. Could be awesome!

Remember not to engage 100% with malware bots posting "Wanna be friends?" Or some encouragement bollocks then "Let's be friends!" etc in the YouTube live chat.
Happy viewing tomorrow! |

Richey's line in the trailer about how England views itself seems more relevant now than it probably did in 1993

Right, that's four Evans films yet to get a physical release. I wonder if the BluRay boxset will come out after he does a KYE one.

Or an imagined Cuban teenager being introduced to the magic of rock n roll by the western imperialist capitalists

As long as the final line was "And FUCK OFF it was Mick Hucknall who was the first to play Cuba! It was the Manic Street Preachers!"

Looks interesting. From what i've seen of his films he seems to capture the energy of a manics gig but i'm curious to see if adding a bit of fictionalised narrative to it will work.
I'm eager to see some new footage of the japan tour though, it's easy to forget how massive they were over there for a time. Still baffling why they couldn't have put this on a DVD with some other stuff and included it with the GATS reissue to justify the overinflated price. I know, right? One would be forgiven for thinking he's making a point by pulling that little bit out for the trailer.

I always thought that Evans was ambivalent about the matter judging by his Twitter feed.....
