FACT: James runs a mile a day, Sean has a gym in his basement, but Nicky? Nicky does all his working out in the bedroom. He does sit-ups.

When James cut his finger making a bacon sandwich, he didn't just slice the tip off, he sliced off his whole hand. He now has a convincing robotic hand ala Luke Skywalker

John Niven has to stand in the shadows and do his guitar part whenever they play Sorrow 16, however. Otherwise the robot hand tears itself from his wrist and tries to strangle him.

The Manics have actually made a lot of great sounding Holy Bible-like albums over the years. They've just not told anybody and buried them for a laugh. Everything else since then is a front for their little in-joke.

Revol started as a 20 minute long space/prog opera whose lyrics were an exact retold of the nightmare Richey had the night before. In the end, the band cut it to the dullest part of the song, just because Nicky adored the way James screamed Kulturkampf.
