I had a dream last night that I was on time for the Cardiff signing, but it had started an hour too early for some reason, so I missed meeting them. Would be nice for there to be no hiccups on the day.

went into the birmingham store yesterday, the poster is in the window and they tell me the manics get there for 5?! I then corrected them, and when he asked his colleague, he didnt even know the manics were doing a signing! then he told me to get there for 12.30 and that should leave enough time to meet them?!?! great communication in that store! Im gonna buy the album elsewhere and go to HMV mwahaha!

Ok people - sorry for being lazy cos I'm sure this is all mentioned somewhere in this thread but... anyone know what is the deal with what you can get signed - do you have to buy the album in the shop on the day or can you take in an online pre-order (or am I being optimistic thinking a prerder will arrive on the day?!).. and does it then have to be a preorder bought from HMV site?
Still banking on winning a box set haha so haven't actually bought or decided on anything yet...

I don't think I'll be going to this now. I have to sign on first thing Monday morning. I was going to get the train up, but by the time I get there, I *might* be cutting it fine.
Also, after Saturday, my trust in trains is 0%.

I think I will probably go on the basis that it's only a couple of miles from my house, plus it'll give me the opportunity to catch up with my Manics buddies like Archivesoftherevollover, who I hope will attend! Only thing is that I'll have to buy the album on the day, and I wasn't planning on getting it at all....
