I can't get get enough of this tune. I've heard all the live versions, seen it live at Brixton but, for me, the album version wins hands down. It's the most sinister song they've done since TIHOE for me and the first song of theirs I've properly caned since Peeled Apples. Love it.

I did check http://www.officialcharts.com/singles-chart/ to see if it had charted. But nothing. Turns out more people were excited for Morrissey instead.

I listened to the lyrics again and think that's what they really are:

This might make more sense. Nina also always sings "europäische...", never "european", but that might just have been an issue of paste©. Lastly, she sings "europäische Sonne", not "Söhne". The latter is the correct translation. sons = Söhne but "son" sounds more like "Sonne" (= sun). No idea if this was deliberstely changed or just a mistake she made recording her one take.

Was really looking forward to hearing the studio version but the video thrown in is a great bonus...great song and video!.
Not liking WMTTB though... I am pretty sure this was the tune Robin Turner was raving about on twitter a while back or could there be an even better tune on the album?..would take a lot to beat this... Last edited by Kafir_Lover; 20-05-2014 at 13:47.
