Just back from the gig. One important detail that hasn't been comented on yet:

NICKY'S JACKET HAD THE BATMAN SIGN ON THE BACK OF IT

After having avoided set list spoilers (apart from a couple on Nicky's twitter) I was very happy with the set list, especially after the greatest hits stroll that was Birmingham last year. And despite this being my thirteenth Manics gig over fifteen years they still had room for a couple of old songs (Life Becoming a Landslide and My Little Empire) that I hadn't heard before.

Crowd were totally up for it, spent most of the gig in the fourth row or so bouncing and getting crushed! My ears are ringing like never before, must be getting old!

Yeah, I was too busy to text at that point, he's worn it already this tour.

SO MUCH better than Llandudno last night, where the crowd couldn't care less, or so it seemed, beyond maybe 5 rows back. This was amazing, and a good crowd made a good setlist great.

The sound was the only thing that wasn't so good tonight - postcards sounded a bit crappy, sound wise...but the crowd made up for it.
