I LOVE IT!

Best Tracks - (It's Not War) Just the End of Love; Some Kind of Nothingness [my personal favorite]; A Billion Balconies Facing the Sun; All We Make Is Entertainment; and Don't Be Evil [almost tied as my personal favorite].

I also think it's an awesome travel album and I listen to it on my bus ride to school.

I hate all you UK FDers who are getting the tour now
Yay! Some Kind Of Nothingness is my fave too but love all of it!

Might bump into you! I'm really excited now and it's my first Manics gig!

About the new album though, I think it's pretty great. My favourite track are SKON, Don't Be Evil, and Golden Platitudes.

Yay! Really hating that Ian has appeared live with James in the UK though. That will never happen anywhere else

Might do! I shall be on the lookout for FD'ers! Maybe I can sing 4EverDelayed as some sort or signal!

Aaaaaaaaw! You never know! It was only in Liverpool so it's the same for fans of the Bunnymen in other parts of the country.

I'm enjoying it. Certain songs are getting better each time I listen. I love the little trumpet melody on 'The Future Has Been Here...' and whilst I was lukewarm on 'Don't Be Evil' it's now become one of my favourites.

I really like the extra demo disc as sometimes I prefer the stripped down versions to the kitchen sink ones. Nicky's version of 'Some Kind of Nothingness' is great (much like his version of 'She Bathed Herself...'. Can't wait to hear the new songs live.

In the same way that you can construct the best version of THB by choosing either UK or US mixes I do the same with JFLP to get rid of the sodding gospel choirs. Songs like SKON, I think I found it, Golden Platitudes are wonderful on the demo but absolutely god awful on record with the full treatment.

I enjoy the choirs on the songs.

I just can't get behind the choir thing. We'll have to watch it otherwise they'll be doing You Love Us as a piano ballad with a full gospel choir by the end of the year...

Yes please! That sounds fun. Just once or twice anyway.

Still loving PFAYM.

I'd actually love to hear and see them replicate the songs live with a choir and strings section-I had wondered if Newport might be the place they did it but was disappointed....

I love the choirs/strings and yet for me THB will always be the best album.

Wonder if we get some bigger venues next year whether we'll get choirs and strings?

The choirs on The Future Has Been Here 4 Ever definitely adds something to the track. I personally like the choirs on this album - at least it's subtle and not on every track.

Marwood.
