I highly recommend it, that and Black Mass: Apocalyptic Religion and the Death of Utopia. Couple of the greatest books of the last 10 years.

The ideas of gospel choirs, "commercial" and SATT 2 are driving me so fuckin' crazy! (I don't know what we should think about it... crossing fingers. I hope I'm wrong and I love it as I do with THB, JFPL, EMG).
Maybe my english isn't great (I know it isn't) but I just read, in the article, 3 title tracks (PFAYM, AMBFTS and INWJTEOL). Where is the 4th? By the way, maybe it sounds a little bit selfish but I don't like they becoming massive huge artitsts (I don't like new idiot fans just for a few songs, they are our cult band... they are ours! lol). PD: I'm sure I will finally like it as I always do with every Manics album!!

i'm liking the idea of the gospel choir. maybe the song is going to sound a bit like the band spiritualized?
how far in advance did JFPL leak on the internet? |

Not the RICHOH arena, not that dirt hole! Most awful igs of my life i have spent in that venue!
Now Telford International Centre would be an amazing one, only Paul Weller has played there in recent years but wow great sound

I'm sure everyone has heard (or read? I only saw xfm's tweet) that Nicky has said they're the indie Rolling Stones because they have so many songs to choose from live. Apparently they're finding this tour difficult to plan for because there are fans who mainly want songs from Journal and Bible and fans who mainly want EMG and Truth. I think most fans just want varied setlists and for them to remember they have songs that weren't singles!

I love this radio singles thing. So long as it's SATT poppy and not TIMT send-you-into-a-coma poppy I'll be bloody happy!

Picked it up today. Finished the first chapter. It's quite jumpy. I normally criticise philosophy books for hammering the same point home over a series of 500 pages. But, this one has so far been through the whole history and 'meaning' of life on Earth in just 34 pages, without really explaining on any of it! I'm enjoying it, though...if that's the right word...
