I've mellowed to it now. I don't violently dislike it like I did when it first came out, I just find it meh in the same way I think Lifeblood is meh. I still only really like one song, which is the title track.

I'm still loving the new album, and am pleased to say that SKON has grown on me since hearing it played live!

That's not so good - I'm going to have to wash mine, don't fancy trying to hand wash it so am going to stick it in the washing maching in the hope that it'll withstand the 15 minute 30 degree quick wash!

A few good songs, the rest are forgetful tripe due to the Notting Hill production style.

Good songs:
Hazelton Avenue (8/10)
Don't Be Evil (9/10)
Future Has Been Here 4ever (7/10)

I Think I Found It sounds exactly like an old busking song I played too, riff and chord progression wise, so I sort of like that but feel they ripped me off by accident. Where are my damned royalties?!

Haven't listened to it for a couple of months, apart from the singles when they are on the radio and AWMIE. I can't say I really feel the need to listen to it again any time soon.

At this point, "Distractions" remains my favourite of the PFAYM era tracks. "Auto Intoxication" is also a favourite and I kinda wish the whole album had taken the sound of these 2 tracks. It would've been like a mash-up of the SATT/JFPL sound.

I realise how unpopular this is going to make me

Huh, I don't think that's *that* unpopular of an opinion. 'Auto Intoxication' is a pretty good song and definitely an interesting move structurally. I just sometimes feel it sounds like a bad mashup of Baby Elian's verse and Me & Stephen Hawking's pre-chorus at times.

'Distractions' is great though, it didn't hit me at first but it's a fun, cleaner take on the KYE and SATT rock sound. Definitely the best b-side from this album.

I'm certainly in the minority where "Lost Voices" is concerned though....I really like it, it has a JFPL style to it and (apart from the haphazard ending) I think it's a great tune.

This is the first time I have to admit I'd like some B-sides over the most of the album tracks. Especially Red Rubber is challenging! More of this, boys!
