Now i'm imagining homeless people sat in shop doorways frantically trying to gnaw through the lid of a tin of baked beans.

I can't even convey how much more excited I am about the free bar and food than the Manics. Free flippin bar! "That'll be eight whiskeys please..."

Oh, i forgot, as you said in the Knees-Up thread, you don't go North of the River.
I'd make an exception for this obviously

The person who runs the Facebook page said that the Ground Floor Restaurant would be open as usual for food drink etc...

I might very well be there for about 6:30pm from work, as it will take a reasonable amount of time to get food, due to the nature of the place always being busy.

That was rubbish though afterwards. If I'd realised it wasn't free after the gig I would have got hammered earlier. As it was I ordered a white wine spritzer and had to pay like £8.

Lager and Blackcurrant? Ugh. People used to drink that when i worked in a a bar to subsidise my hairdressing junior salary. I have grim memories of having to mop up pools of purple vomit.

For those who were wondering if you need to take tinned food along as originally requested, you don't have to. I'm guessing this may have been originally for a collection for the homeless for Christmas time.

Why, are Hard Rock Cafe gonna donate their minimum wage shortfall instead?
