I haven't a fucking clue now what to do. I was going to get a very early train into Manchester to be sure that I got a wristband, then go back in the evening in the absolute certainty that I'd get in. Now it looks like any passing punter on Market Street is going to decide to join a queue sometime in the afternoon, so I could travel to Manchester and not get in. It's easily a two hour journey, door to door, I don't want to do it for nothing.

Hey, can one of you do me a huge favor? Can you tell the Manics that the American fans are still very proud of them and that the last several years were a blast. No matter what we still love them and wish they have a very nice break.

Well I'm now booked into a hotel in Cardiff with my wife and nipper. Treated her to a spa break at st David's. She won't mind me nipping out for a gym workout tomorrow morning for a few hours (via hmv Cardiff). The things I do for this band!

How early is early though? I was thinking about 8am, but is this too early, I have no idea!!!!! lol

I'm leaving my home at about 6am for the Cardiff signing! It takes about an hour an a half to drive. I'm meeting nic, she is there today to see Eraser and staying overnight. She went into HMV and they are not having wristbands. xxx

Quite why I've booked the entire day off work tomorrow for this, I'm not really sure. May hold off heading into Manc until early afternoon, but given I don't yet have a copy of the album, I'll probably cave before then, get myself to HMV and then wonder what the hell to do with myself for the rest of the day. But looking forward to queuing for my 10 seconds of awkwardness! (at least it won't be as cold as Cardiff at midnight for TIMTTMY)

If anyone's thinking of travelling up to Brum from a long way to queue outside HMV before 10:30am tomorrow for a 1pm signing that most people won't give a crap about (since wristbands aren't even being allocated) then I think it may be a bad idea! Unless you plan to kill 3 hours elsewhere, I doubt there will even be a queue until at least 90 mins before it takes place. Even more of a waste of time if you consider that it'll probably be over in a minute! I'm heading up quite early but that's only because it's very local to me and I'm going to have some drinks with some FDers before it all starts to make a day of it
