Nicky once ordered a hovercraft, and was disappointed when he realised it wasn't something to do with creative vacuum cleaners. To this day he writes the letter 'o' in random places, to serve as a reminder of that unfortunate misunderstanding.
Sean enjoys walking barefoot upon the solid bars of gold which are embedded in the floor of his living room. He calls it his "gold against the sole time". James enjoys painting 1 pence coins with tippex - but NOT 2p pieces, which he loathes. o

James has actually been a long serving member of that Male Voice Choir who were at the Cardiff Library opening for years. He was smiling so much because he hadn't seen his fellow baritones for a couple of months!

After a bump to the head in an accident on tour in 1993, Sean now can't see a manhole cover without jumping into a sewer and pretending to be a rat. James and Nicky once had to rescue him from a large wheelie bin in a back alley, where they discovered him gnawing through a bag.
Former Eastenders star, Dean Gaffney, once tried to change his name to James Dean Gaffney, in honour of his long-term Manics fandom. At the last moment, however, he changed his mind and went for: "Dean Enola/Alone 4-Real Super Moore Gaffney." For a small fee, Sean offers his services to people suffering from insomnia. He is a freelance sheep counter. Nicky once claimed to have found an image of Jesus in a Dairylea Dunkable. James and Richey briefly had a highly successful business, designing outfits for period dramas.
