The absence of two albums from the montage was so funny!! It's like they want to forget KYE and Libeblood ever happened!!

There was an after show party at the venue. Nicky left the venue straight after the gig with his family but James and Sean went to the party.

Aww, I wondered if their families would be there seeing as it was Cardiff. So they didn't come out to sign anything?

I'm almost disappointed by that revelation.

I know a couple of people who met them before the gig, so I think they came out then instead.

Well well well. Got up at 4AM and got my train, thank god for the trolley, chocolate and a caffienated drink saved my life. Got to the venue in a rather convoluted way to join my tour mum Gina in the James queue, fetched young Rookesy and got breakfast going thanks to his pastry offering, absolute legend baker boy.

So good to see so many familiar and new faces, my favourite queue ever, Manics fans really do rock, too many to mention frankly. Table tennis and visiting Spillers, going to The Great Western and climbing stairs to the Rocky theme tune then having simulated martiar arts fights were priceless memories.

The gig was good. Firstly, The Joy Formidable, 3rd time seeing them, just getting better and better, they were mind-blowing last night and we were more than happy to show our support, much to their appreciation, they are better than BSP and I may have to follow them, I know I'm not the only one.

Manics were on top form, sounding amazing, great setlist, James and Nicky both talking to the audience, the sunglasses even came off. However there were a lot of dicks in the audience who made it very uncomfortable and I found it hard to always enjoy myself, as MSPKYE mentioned there was a big fella and the idion who kept chanting meaningless drivel, really had it with men shouting at James and showing no consideration for people around them, that should by rights have been my best Manics gig ever, thanks to them it wasn't.

Managed to get the last MJ 7" from one merch stand, sorry PFAYM I did try, I blame twats like the guy who bought nine and was gonna sell them on eBay, I could have nutted him.

Annoying that the band didn't come out, I left anyway but it was a real shame for those who waited out for ages.

Special mention to Dan, Kevin, Joe, James and Alex, legends one and all who made waiting for my 5AM megabus much more tolerable.

Alas at Cardiff gigs there is always an element of drunken idiots who make it feel uncomfortable for the true fans. Drinking culture of South Wales they all head to Cardiff for Friday and Saturday nights. Yep Joy Formidable were amazing again. Impressed big time and I agree better than BSP.

Aye, really got on my tits, they ended up right behind us as doors was a shambles too, Rookesy was literally 4th in the James queue and he didn't get the barrier, I was 2nd and was still a little too far left for my liking as they couldn't scan my ticket.

Ah well, no harm done but I'm happy to not see the Manics for a good while now.

TJF seem to be gaining fans one by one, they're gonna be big, currently the band I'm most excited about seeing in the future.

I queued at the front enterance and was amazed how small the queue was. When door opened managed to get my 7" and there was still plenty of space in the front row. I decided to stand by the mixing desk as not a fan of having drunken people bumping into you all night. It was a great gig and hope TJF gain some commercial success.

To be fair that was more because the security spent a good minute laughing at the amount of crap in my pockets...
