The HMV 'National Treasures' album signings are well under way today with Cardiff signing already taken place, but you can stil catch them at HMV Birmingham at 1PM and HMV Manchester at 6PM.

I still don't understand how they are getting between these places in such a short time. Is there a Manics private jet/helicopter now?

Cardiff / Birmingham / Manchester isn't too difficult to do by road with two hours between each signing. As long as there aren't any major holdups it should be fine.

I was wondering the same thing. I can't actually give you an answer because I'm not sure.

edit: Moreover, even if the event is sold out, shouldn't they write something on their website/FB/whatever about that Nicky event in London?

Damn it! Just realised Bradders didn't sign my book. I guess he was too busy scratching his crazy pirate beard to sign it!

Sod security, the band won't mind if you want one or two things extra, just mention it to them.

Bum. I'll just pretend I didn't want to go anyway.

PS Have fun and tell James to shave!
No, tell James to keep the beard but trim it regularly!

woot, i got 2 of my guitars signed, nickys book, 2 of the posters, national treasures, journal lp, satt lp and my holy bible tour programme.
had a nice chat with james as they were having their coffee's in the stockroom, just talked about guitars and a few mutual friends from around cardiff.
he really knows his local bands, he seemed to know everyone i mentioned by first name!
he was really interested im my holy bible programme, said he'd not seen one since '94 and that looking at it made him feel really old.
nicky laughed when i told him james had said that!
nicky just grinned at me alot, made me promise to use glittery nail polish to preserve his signature on the back of my guitars and laughed 'ill see you next week when im in here shopping'!

and if you're in the que hoping to get other stuff signed then security WILL refuse you.
however, the band are more than happy to sign it for you.
i was telling people with guitars, posters etc to wait til the end so you can personally ask the band to do it, then security let you through on the bands say so.
talk to the staff - they'll understand.
