I really doubt that... PFAYM has probably sold at least 30 000 copies this week, and singles that place at #40 in the chart always sell far less then 30k

I bet right, cos when it charted last week at #28 and got a single play on radio 1 last Sunday some people will have heard it and thought "Not heard this before, it's pretty cool, I'm gonna buy it" so that's why it's had a few more sales. The chances of this, however, are slim but some people have obviously bought it. Yay!
I reckon the album sold about 33k.

also, i think you have to buy the specific singles "pack" (or whatever the fuck it is called) rather than just the track.

The thing about entire album downloads contributing to the singles chart surely doesn't make any sense in light of the album version of the Script's single charting below the album version of It's Not War on the iTunes singles chart.

The album is still £3.99 on Amazon to download until midnight tonight and it's still #1 so there's a few sales to go towards next weeks chart placing. I hope it stays in the top 10 but it'll be a struggle I reckon. I think JFPL dropped to #16 in its 2nd week if I remember correctly without looking it up.

Does anyone know the sales?
I'm curious if we get an email or at least a mention on the official site saying "thank You" for the amazing 3rd place. So far it looks like they are disappointed.

Well it sucks they didn't get to #1, but #3 is a damn good showing.
Who in the hell are the Script? Never heard of them o.O.

Probably the latest indie darlings who will be forgotten about come January.

I youtubed them yesterday, they are awful. This year UK has lost a little bit of my love - first I had to see The Glitter Band playing before Manics and then Collins and Script beat them... But it's not that serious

Postcards From A Young Man - 38,300 sales (roughly).
A tick over 2k behind Phil and 1k behind The Script.
