I have a spare for the Tuesday, but still have to decide if I want to stand or sit...

I'm absolutely over the moon I got my entrance sorted for all 3 gigs though!
Hats off, squire! You're a bigger pisstaker than me when it comes to gigs.

Sorry should probably have mentioned it's for Manchester and the only option available other than 'best available was unreserved standing. There wasn't actually any mention of seating.

Just noticed that my confirmation email says I have 'Level 1' standing at the Roundhouse. At the risk of sounding stupid, is there more than one standing level? Or is this the floor?

+ a way to sell tickets back to venue or to fans for face value so people don't have to ebay if they can't go.

Yeah there is a second level of standing above the seating, not sure how much it can hold

On one of the tickets I bought it says standing level 2?! Hope standing is all one area!

Been there once before and I think it's all on one level with seating in the back half that's first come first served.

It's bad that so many fans didn't get tickets.

The dates were widely publicised and wth so few venues, they were always going to draw interest from across the UK.

I think they just hugely underestimated demand; looks like they could have done three nights at Brixton rather than the Roundhouse.

I reckon they would know that thousands would want this. I've been to all four venues and it seems to me that they chose the ones best to showcase an artistic statement, rather than 'a rock gig'. I love Brixton Academy but it doesn't seem right for this album.

Manchester Albert Hall is an inspired choice, a 2000 capacity former Methodist hall.

Alas level 1 standing is the floor, level 2 standing is on level 2, level 3 standing level 3. This little diagram shows how it works: http://www.double8tickets.com/images...roundhouse.png

Yeah, that Manchester one looks great.

Union Chapel could've been a good one for London.

This morning's ticket buying experience has taught me that no amount of ticket-buying skillz can make up for a slow-running computer. Cue uninstalling programs, replacing antivirus and installing ad-blocker. Fortunately my partner in crime had all the tickets bought before my webpage had even refreshed!

Hammersmith Apollo or whatever it's called now had a returns queue for Kate Bush - so clearly they allowed people to return unwanted tickets to the venue. But the very fact of ticket ID makes life so difficult for the touts and that means fans turning up on the night have a far better chance of getting a spare off a fan rather than being charged an extortionate amount by a tout. I've been beaten up trying to sell a spare ticket to a fan at a MSP gig before - touts insist you sell the ticket to them for a fiver or not at all... it's a mafia-like operation.

That's why it's great we have this forum so if anyone does has a spare they can arrange to sell it to a fan before the event.

The MSP incident of 6 touts v. me was in the 90s. Sadly they've always been aggressive and round on fans who try and help other fans and won't sell spares to them.
